From The Anderson's

Excuse our informal Christmas card. I never got around to actually making our cards until today. So its safe to say, these won't be printed and sent out this year. Next year is sounding more doable.  We have a teething one year old (all four molars at the same time.) On top of that, she had shots on Monday. Its been an emotional week for the babes.  Wish us luck that we will survive. Its testing all our patience.

Under the Sink

Aubri is what we like to call a professional mess maker. She can take a perfectly clean room, drawer or cabinet and make it look like a hurricane has it. He place of choice lately has been the cabinet under the sink in our bathroom. She clean it out enough just so she can go sit inside--Indian style.  Good thing we love her more than she can imagine, or we wouldn't let her do it. She babbles up a storm, laughing and giggling her way through. She is hilarious to watch and listen to at all times of the day. But she just seems to come to life while making a mess.  I'll trade her happiness for cleanliness any day.

One Year Older

This beautiful girl turned one yesterday! Its hard to believe that it has already been a year. We have truly enjoyed this fun-loving, energetic, happy , sweet girl!  The day was very enjoyable for all three of us. We started the day off by singing happy birthday to her--multiple times, I might add. After her morning nap, we decked her out head to toe for her birthday lunch at the Nordstrom Bistro.(She loves their fries and olive-yogurt dip. We like to say she has mature taste buds.) She munched on all our dishes and ventured out to the fish tank, which she loved!

As far as what she is doing now....

She is pretty much walking. She walks to and from things that are no less than 10 steps away. But while doing so, she much be carrying at least two things in her hands. She loves stuffed animals and her baby more than anything else. She now says Dad, Daddy, No, Ya, and Shh. She loves to play hide and seek, peek-a-boo, and chase.  And most of all, she loves to go to Target. (I honestly can say we go everyday.) She loves, loves, loves clothes and gets excited when we buy new ones. So excited that she carries them around and tries to put them on for a good hour afterwards.  She has grown so much in the last year and we just fall more in love with this sweet, quirky girl everyday. We are excited and nervous for what the next year will bring us with her! (We are dreading the tantrum stage--hopefully we skip it!) We love you Aubri Roo, and hope you had a wonderful birthday!
