For He's A Jolly Good Fellow

Yesterday morning,  we recieved a phone call early in the morning.  It was my brother telling me that
my Grandpa had been rushed to the hospital by ambulance. With a faint pulse, his chances were slim.
I automaitcally broke down crying. Never in my life, have I ever started to cry so fast in my life.
Through the tears,  immediately started to pack up Aubri so we could get there as fast as possible.
Before I could even get Aubri in her carseat, I received another phone call from my Mom.
He didn't make it.  My heart instantly sunk. I was devestated.

I knew that he would be passing soon, but not this soon. He had gone down hill alot in the last year.
But Grandpa had always been a fighter and beat the odds. Doctors told him years, and years ago he only had 5 year to live. After having heart problems for years, diabetes, and recently treated for cancer, he left us, and went on to next life.
While I am so sadden by his death, I know that he is at peace and pain free.

I am so glad he was here when Aubri was born. I grateful he was strong in the gospel and able to be in the circle at Aubri's blessing.   I am grateful for the example he set of being selfless and putting others first.

We love you so much Grandpa, and are so grateful to have you in our life.
