5 Months

Its hard to believe that its already been 5 month since Aubri came into our family.  She is growing so much and becoming more independent by the day. Right before she turned 5 months, she cut her first tooth! Its her bottom left tooth. More and more comes in each day.  So that means there are more tears from both her and me. (Not really, but I am exhausted from having a grumpy baby. I don't know how Mom's do it with a collic.)  Other than teething and drooling on anything and everything, we've been enjoy this amazing weather. We go on one to two walks a day. She pops her pointer and middle finger in her mouth and just chills in her stroller. Loving life as she looks at everything around her.  She's been practicing walking too.  Of course, with our help.  This girl is just so eager to grow up!  She has graduated from her pink whale tub, to the big girl bath tub. Since she wouldn't keep her bottom in her seat, I gave up and now let her lay in the tub with about an inch of so of water.  You would have think I gave her a pony.  She is thrilled being able to sprawl out and splash all she wants.  She now will give you kisses when you ask for them.  So far, only Mama and Daddy are lucky enough to get these. Watch out though, when you ask for just one kiss, you get attacked with kissed from her.  On your cheeks, lips, eye, nose...anywhere she finds appropriate.  While she gives you these kisses, she grabs your face to hold it in place, and when she is finished, she pushes off and clasps her hands together.

As of lately, she loves just playing all by herself.  She loves her  bug and could eat him all day if I let her.  She scoots around the room inches at a time. But always has her bug by her side.

I love how she is looking at her bug like they are talking to each other.  Such an odd duck.

Now we are just waiting for her to crawl.  We knows its close, she gets her bottom in the air, and lifts her tummy.  So close! We are both excited and dreading this.  She already is such a busy body, we dread the day she is officially mobile. Last but not least, she now wakes up by cooing, blowing her lips and now growling. I know, growling. Oh, how we love this little girl. She doesn't cease to amaze us and make us laugh.
