The First Thing We See...

Every morning is this adorable little girl.  With a smile just as big on her face. 

And she keeps it on all day long--unless you wake her up from her nap.  We are so lucky to have such a happy, calm and relaxed baby!  

He Put A Ring on It

Jenni and Cordell are finally getting married.  They have been dating for the past 3 years , so it will be nice to finally say he is my brother-in-law.  He's a perfect fit for our family, and gets along with everyone. 

They are perfect for each other and bring out the best of one another. They are getting married June 2nd in the Bountiful Temple.  Everything is already planned.  Did I mention they got engaged 3 weeks ago?

The wedding will be gorgeous!  Aunt Dayna bought her an adorable dress from baby Gap, and i found the perfect, vintage looking flower for her hair to go with it.  She is going to be super cute that day!Next up for their wedding, is Jennis bridal shower.  Can't wait!

Bubble Gum Pink & Soccer

Yesterday, Emma had a game.  I haven't been to any since last fall.  And I sure missed them!  While I am sure they aren't good for my blood pressure, I love to watch this chick kick butt. She really is an incredible soccer player. She's as fast as and agile as cheetah. Just overall  amazing.  I am pretty proud to call her my sister.  Every game, she scores most, if not  all  the goals.

 

While we were at the game, Aunt Sam and crazy Uncle Chris were there too.  Chris loves Aubri. He gets so excited every time he see's her. They had a ball yesterday playing together.  She couldn't stop smiling. 

We are so in love with this little peanut.  She is such a happy, busy baby.  She is so eager to crawl and grow up too fast for us. We can already tell she is going to be an outside baby. She loves it outside! Loves going on walks, in or out of the stroller, and loves to just look around at everything around her. 

Looking Forward To It

Friday night we are having a little dinner and heading to the Tulip Festival. 

We LOVE tulips in our house. They are one of our favorites.

And I am sure Aubri will love every second of it.  Bright, pretty flowers everywhere you look, she'll be in heaven for sure.  Perfect for a baby and a date night!

On Saturday, Aubri, Jenni and I are hitting the Queen Bee Market at Thanksgiving Point first thing in the morning.   Home decore, jewlery, hand bags, baby stuff... you get the idea.  Perfect for girls to go to.  And I cannot wait! I am dying to get some cut accessories for Aubri. Afterall, she can never have enough no mater what Austin says.

It will be so nice to get out and about. I have reached my limit of cabin fever for the next five years without a shadow of a doubt.  I have been inside since November, occassionally going out with Aubri. Now that she is older, and most of the bugs that usually go around are gone, its time to get out!

Thank goodness spring has stayed with us this far! I don't think I could handle the cold anymore.

BFF's & Shades

We had such a fun weekend.  Dinner on Friday night was a blast. It was nice to finally put names to a face. Austin definately is working with a good group of guys. He is so much happier working there, then he was at 1-800-CONTACTS.  I forgot to take pictures though...sorry!

Saturday, we met up with Chas, Jamie and Lanea for lunch at Costa Vida. It was so much fun to get together. It seemed like it had been forever! Lanea is just 4 months older than Aubri. She is the cutest little thing. She waved at Aubri as soon as I took her out of her carseat, and smiled huge for the camera. It was adorable.  Aubri was a little somber the whole time, because she had just woke up from her nap. Even with that is was a blast! Love ya guys, and we can't wait to get together soon! :)

Easter was a blast this year! The Easter Bunny brought everyone a little something, we just forgot to take a picture of it. But Aubri got a teething tube, a rubber ducky, shades, and an outfit from Gap. She loved it! Austin was suprised with Reece's Easter Eggs (His favorite), two shirts, and Indiana Jones-The Last Crusade--his favorite as well.  And I suprised myself with a maxi dress and two shade shirts.  Overall, I can't complain, I absolutely love a maxi dress!

We had Easter dinner with my side of the family this year. I have to say this one was my favorite Easter in a long time. Let me re-phrase that, it was the best Easter/family gathering in a while.  It was our first family get together since my Grandpa's funeral. I didn't know what to expect. But everyone was so happy to see everyone. And everyone was there.  Its not very often when all seventeen grand kids are all there.  We are all growing up, moved away for college and got married. (By the way, Jenni is getting married June 2nd...we are so excited for them!) Anyways, we were all there, and it was so much fun. The boys, plus Jenni, Em, and Abba played two-hand touch football. While the girl cousins sat under the shade and chatted. The aunts were inside chatting up a storm as usual, and snuggling Aubri. And I was outside playing on the tramp with Eliza.  (Poor girl, is the youngest grandkid and doesn't have anyone her age, so I try to play with her when I can. Afterall, I watched her a ton growing up.)

Last but not least, was the ultimate Easter Egg Hunt. I have ever seen in my life!  Taylor, Lindsay, Callie and Sam were brillant in coming up with this whole idea. Our hunt, was Hunger Game style.  Our tributes ended up all living and received there tessera in the end. It was so funny to see all their reactions to this. As Effie Trincket says "Happy Hunger Games!" The video will be posted soon--so be sure to check back.

Packed Full

We just adore our little girl.  Her personality is starting to come out a lot lately. These are some pictures of our morning. She loves looking at herself in the mirror. She smiles and talks to herself too! And then there is bath time....oh how she loves her morning baths. Kicking, talking, smiling and splashing is all she does, the entire time. And she will do that for a good half hour.  This morning I looked down, and she had propped her bum on the seat part of her tub and sprawled out. She was in heaven! (Don't you just love her ONE roll on each thigh?!?) Oh, she is just to die for. 

On that note, we are so excited to celebrate our first holiday with Roo. We have a packed weekend. Dinner with friends on Friday.  Lunch with the Tucker's on Saturday, and an Easter Dinner with my family on Sunday. We are ecstatic to play hard this weekend.  After all, it's what we live for! Bounce Bounce

Aubri loves her Jump Up...just not for jumping. She preffers to walk around in circles. Again, and again.

She doesn't make a peep until she is ready to get out and do something new.

She is just perfect from head to tow. Always smiling, and happy.

We are so lucky to have her.
